AN Silver Ladies II
I was happy with the overall speed and flow and first two spins, but need major work on body line, getting a CLEAN axel (this was cheated, but I tried!), nailing all my jumps (and jumping higher!) and sticking my ending pose .. and of course the ugly camel at the end.
Overall, I was happy with it though - the best I skated all year long. . .placed 9th out of 14 (will do better next year!)

this is pretty much like pre preliminary well balance, thats what i compete at lol :)

@jnskateva Update: I took the plunge in January, and started taking ISI classes. I absolutely love it. I passed my Pre-Alpha test in early February, and passed my Alpha/Beta test in early April. I'll be looking for a new coach this fall as mine is graduating from college. Naturally, I'm working on my Gamma/Delta moves, and those are a challenge, but I know they're well with in my reach. I know it's small beans but to me, reaching a new ISI level of skating is quite an accomplishment. :)

Great job! I am an adult skater also - just passed my Bronze level testing. Now onto working on silver. Congrats on a nice program! You get really low on your sit spin- wow I can do one - but I've never gotten that low! Impressive!

@issiebusy Thanks - I am competing next week as well at nationals and hope to have a major improvement on performance and placement - I've been working hard.
Congrats on passing your bronze test - it always feel good to progress.

I just started ice skating for the first time a few weeks ago, and would love to try for levels and possibly do a competition or two. It's so great to see adults doing competitions, just for the fun of it. BTW, your spiral was GORGEOUS!

There wasn't that much of a cheat on your axel; wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said something. Your sit spins are great, as are your jumps. Congratulations!
