  • ...furthermore, there is currently a record homicide rate in San Francisco, fees are being raised on everything from parking tickets to the use of city parks, the streets are full of potholes and need repaving, and services are being cut. In this fiscal climate, why is at least $11.4 million a year being spent in a futile crusade targeting adults who have consensual sex? How many of the 98 people killed in SF last year would be alive now if that money hadn't been wasted going after prostitution?

  • As one of the activists fighting to pass this measure in San Francisco, I have some responses here. First of all, I realize that you were probably doing this for a class project or something, but if you're going to put anything else like this up on YouTube, please talk to some of us and get the other side of the story. Prostitution is not called the "world's oldest profession" for nothing - they've been wasting YOUR taxpayer money for years trying to get rid of it, with absolutely no success...

  • I would give 20 to the nigg fo a half hour and prolly 50 to the beaner for a half hour. Quit hatin bitches get with the p gram and eat a dick for a dollar.

  • hating ass bitchs..either get with the program or move out the way of progress

  • Why would you want sex workers to be arrested? That makes no sense.

  • Legalization is NOT the same thing as Decriminalization. If it is decriminalized, women will have the right to report being abused by their client. This petition takes away the power of the people controlling the women and lets them make their own decisions. People have the right to do what they want with their bodies!

  • Finally, prostitution is not degrading to women. There are many male and transgender sex workers, as well as female clients. What is degrading and insulting is for the law to treat people like children and presume to tell them what to do or not do with their own bodies. Having sex for money, or making the choice to pay for sex with someone who is willing, are basic human rights. The government ands the church do not own your body - you do. Trying to control the bodies of others is disrespectful.
