Correction! It's 6 lbs, not 8! More info: www.compositeelectrics.com. No, I don't get to keep the prototype. :) www.myspace.com/jessedylanmusic

  • Damn, the guitar seems cool, but you should check the tuning before you do a review, it's awfully out of tune :-(

  • @SpotlightKid83 It might have been out of tune, dunno. I'm not used to such light gauge strings, so I tend to push down way too hard and inadvertently bend everything on electrics. Sorry to offend your perfect pitch.

  • Thanks for the review Jesse, nice job. Did you make up some of those chords? :)

  • Yeah, it's all my own stuff except for a second song during the "more gain" section where I panicked and played two chords of a Goo Goo Dolls song. :)

    Thanks :D

  • You didn't appear nervous at all me to me Jesse. Great review!

  • Aw, thank you! I was weird and awkward for some reason. :P And the shirt was a poor choice (but at least I didn't wear that brown one three videos in a row, ha).

  • i had one of these it suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • How do you think this guitar would compare to the Gibson Les Paul Studio. Given that there in the same price range.

    Thanks,

    Ed

  • @marshallman63 i did a video with my girlfriends cell phone not the best quality but i can post it later if you'd like

  • Hi there Jesse, are you in touch with CA staff?

Just wondering are they releasing newer version of blade? I wish they made inlays and also widens the distance between the neck and bridge pickup or maybe use different pickups like EMGs

I heard that they aren't selling direct from their companies anymore, its now through retails which price is no lo longer $800.

Do CA entertain custom guitar request?

  • this guitar looks like it should be used to play hardcore metal, does anybody know if there's a video like this on youtube where they demo this guitar for that genre?

  • Cool guitar, Jesse:

In the background of all my uploads is an original Steinberger upside-down on the wall. That thing is , I think, the first carbon guitar, and is a great guitar (~30 years old). This one looks & sounds good to me too.

    Thanks, Hashi
