  • Hi did you put the ribbon through the needle on the safety pin or did you just put them through the safety pin

  • Through the needle, otherwise it will just fall off. The needle is so small it doesn't ruin the ribbon at all. HTH

  • Love the safety pin on a ring idea... =)

I have a designer gift box that looks like a Chinese take out box full of my ribbon scraps... same concept with me though --- spools on a rod and scraps in a box lol..

  • Thanks for the tips! I am trying to figure out what to do with my loose ribbons. I already use the jar on the desk for scraps. I like the idea of the safety pins and ribbons! Thanks again!

  • Great ideas :). Instead of jars to store leftover ribbon, you can also roll them into bead organizer containers (the plastic ones with compartments from e.g. Darice). It's very affordable and keeps ribbons neat and accessible.

  • Are you and emo scrapbooker?? Cuz if you are, awesome!!!! :)

  • Great Idea with the jump rings

  • holy Hanah you are really organized as far as ribbon goes! Thanks for posting this.

  • Room of crap...haha sounds just like mine! Love it!

  • love the hanging idea...off to office depot I go! Thanks for sharing

  • Yeah, Smashing Pumpkins!! :) Thanks for sharing your ribbon sotrage tips. If you don't have one of those fancy ribbon irons and are in a pinch, I have found that running them through my Chi flat iron works very well to get the kinks out. :)

  • great tips
