  • I usually agree with Dr. Brook, but I don't agree with him about Ron Paul at all. It actually looks look like Mr. Brook is going to eat his own words because now Ron Paul has an excellent chance to get the nomination. At least it's better than "no chance in hell" ;) Of course, this was videoed on November 3, but I don't think Dr. Brook should regurgitate media talking points so much on these matters. He can win if we vote for him. That's all it takes.

  • Dr. Brook probably doesn't like Paul due to his stance on Israel. Rand wouldn't like him for his stance on abortion, either. If the standard for an Objectivist voter is Objectivist politicans, I would advise them not to hold their breath. However, Paul is about as close as we've seen to the politics of the founders, and Objectivists do respect their achievement in creating this country very much. To Objectivists, as an Objectivist, I say Paul is, at least, a step in the right direction.

  • Anti-american because he supports iran having nuclear bombs and blames the US for "causing" 9/11. I would not be surprised if the iranian gov't paid this guy. Anarchist because he's a libertarian i.e no gov't should exist, even for law enforcement. And i never said i supported newt or any other candidate.

  • @TimeWarp66 Yeah, we'll be fine with Newt?

  • @roger89able

    anti-american, pro-islam anarchist????

    Are you insane!?!?!?

  • Ron Paul could win if people who want to vote for him would stop saying he can't win. He can win, IF YOU VOTE FOR HIM. It's really not a complicated equation.

  • Seriously, why do so many Ron Paul ghouls come to troll on objectivist videos? It's been established that RP is an anti-american, pro-islam anarchist who is just as irrational as any hardcore liberal, or worse. A few good points on economy does not a good leader make.

  • What Yaron Brook says actually makes a whole lot of sense. It doesn't matter if Ron Paul is the candidate who defends individual liberty, has unwavering principles and wins the Iowa primary. The majority of voters either Democrat or Republican favor the welfare state and a lot of them agree with Obama on the issue of government spending. Ron Paul supporters are the minority in America.

  • I disagree if Ron Paul wins the Iowa primary, he wins the nomination; if he wins the nomination there is no way obama can hold against someone who actually has principals.
