generally, generally- people who love pride and clearly hate UFC and love Fedor and wont speak a bean about other fighters know fuck all about mma.

I genuinely think Fedor will lose, Sylvia is bad match up for him coz of his better stand up and amazing take down defence.

When Fedor does lose to the 5 time UFC champ it will shut these kind of uneducated fan boys up.

No I don't hate UFC I just want them to put on better stuff which they should be doing and should have been doing for about a Year now. Look at the last PPV you had two good to great fights and two very bad fights and the thing looked like a Pride Bushido and not one of the better ones. That is my problem with UFC there events are good but they should be GREAT (even if just on paper) and there is no reason why they shouldn't be.

And which other fighers are you talking about? You mean the other TOP heavyweights who are not in UFC at the moment which would be most of the guys people see as the top 10 heavy weights? Oh and I wouldn't be suprised at all if Sylvia won He is one of the best guys there is and I think its going to be an amazing fight. UFC suffers from the same superiority complex that WWE suffers from, and THATS why you don't see near any of the elements of what made PRIDE successful in the UFC.

IMO, it's almost as if the way the UFC looks at things, they feel that their way of doing business is the best way to show the product, for the fact that they, and not PRIDE, were the product that survived.

I've found Pride to be hit or miss. I bought one dvd with the opening round of the 2005 middleweight tournament and some matches sucked and some were really entertaining. That's the case with most MMA but Pride was more noticeable.
