Cane&Lily's scenes 11-06-22 US

Colin is wheeled to his final x-ray examination just before Genevieve and Cane arrive to his hospital room. Genevieve is startled by the empty room, exclaiming to Cane that she hopes Colin hasn't left for his arraignment because she still has some choice words for him. Cane is uneasy over how pleased Genevieve is with herself, especially when she insists she should be celebrating her triumph over Colin. Cane feels ill thinking about how his and Genevieve's actions have caused so much pain for Lily, Jill, and everyone they have deceived.

Genevieve arrives to Gloworm and heads for Neil and Lily's table, who are enjoying each others company. Lily is strong and insists she is nothing like Genevieve when Genevieve suggests they should get to know one another because they do have a lot more in common than Lily thinks. Before Lily can say anymore, Jill approaches them, demanding Genevieve to back off. Kay agrees, but Genevieve will not be bullied, telling everyone that she had hoped they could all share relief that Colin is now paying for his sins. Shock ensues as Colin arrives, exclaiming he hopes he didn't miss cocktail hour. Cane looks on from the background, unnoticed.
