I finally saw Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino" last night. While I have some issues with the film, I really liked the main musical theme, so I decided to work up a quick version of it. I highly recommend Jamie Cullum's excellent recording of this piece.

I have uploaded a simple lead sheet for this piece on Scribd: http://www.scribd.com/doc/25350826/Gran-Torino . Enjoy working with the piece! I'd love to hear your versions of this great tune.

UPDATE: I see that there is now a "proper" piece of sheet music for this song, which is available here: http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtdVPE.asp?ppn=mn0078956 .

    I' m having shivers down my spine ... :D

  • amazig, really

  • Superb rendition of this beautiful tune. While listening to this I remember Walt´s labrador laying under the porch, whimpering, for his master won´t never come back. It´s like it conveys the life through its path, smouldering, spending each second that passes by.

I have copied the whole sheet, let´s hope that more renditions of this tune will emerge, just I wished I could play it so stylish as you do. My most sincere congratulations

  • Thank you that was beautiful ,.. thank-you .. U.K.

  • 1:19 to 1:30 is the best part...how you played the keys was amazing
