Till very recently the UK suffered more deaths per size of the armed forces deployed then the US did in afghan(due to helmand).

Maybye why we are "afaid" of conflict, is because we have had a LONG (yes longer the You the US.) of violence. So we are not as fast to throw us selves into wars. And we don't generally support torture, as you apperently do, (if you have to belive the fact that Guantanamo is still operatining)

@Darusdei "Lift and strike" was the name of a U.S. policy in which was to improve the political settlement in Bosnia. The proposal was to lift the arms embargo against the BiH government in order to allow the poorly armed Bosniaks to arm with imported weapons, thus balancing the conflict along with the threat of airstrikes against the Bosnian Serbs.
Europe opposed it because it feared that it would endanger UNPROFOR and UNHCR's humanitarian programme.
That's exactly what i was talking about.
