Vegan Pledge ( Vlog 10 | 27/05/10 )

Starting Friday, i will be doing a vegan pledge for 30 days? What is a vegan pledge you ask? It is where you pledge to not eat meat, dairy products, etc.. for 30 days!

BUT... i shall also be doing a vlog-a-day, telling you what i tried and what it tastes like to a non vegans!

(Note: Videos will be 1 day late due to editing and uploading)

Why am i doing this?
- To stop cruelty to chickens, cows, etc..
- To help and support www.Peta.org
- To try what being a vegan is like

and also..

it's extremely hard at first. especially if you like your meat.

but stick to it.

i tried to become a vegetarian a handful of times when i was around 12/13. but i just couldn't live without my chicken.

and then one day i stuck to it and soon turned my back on meat.

and i now have pet chickens which i resuced.

it's amazing how inteligent they are. amazing animals.

they all have little personalities and love their cuddles!

so just think about how many animals you're saving!

@Cla900 thanks for the comments. Would love a pet chicken. my garden is bigger than the house! 3 times the house!! It would have lot's of space to roam.

@thatrandomsomeone you don't even need a big garden! a lot of people who live in small houses in london have pet chickens!

i got a chicken coop from a website which is omlet(.)co(.)uk

and it's a plastic one with a run.

really easy to clean.

but i'm not going to mention the price...

put it like this. they aren't cheap!

i'm a vegetarian myself.

and i was thinking about becoming a vegan. but it's extremely hard to find food. the diet also lacks nutrition.

but lets face it..the main reason was because i couldn't live without chocolate x]
