I am gettin an aussie shepherd this month sometime before my husband deploys. It will be good for me and I will be busy going to puppy classes :)

Also, I know this may have been mention already, but the title should read "Conformation".

Beautiful copper coloring. My Mini is a purebred, but not so much for conformation. He's been bred for the breeds working ability and smarts. Hopefully we can start the agility in a month or so. He's the favorite of our trainer in class. He's only 6 months but, is very bright. Definitely a breeze training them.

Wow!! perfect!!
Just make it fun and practice several times a week. With Topper and Diva, their temperaments are so great I didnt have to do much. I started using cheese to get some attention from them, and the rest they pretty much did on their own with my guidance. My handler always told me to keep it fun for them because if they aren't happy they won't do well. So I make sure they have a good time, lots of praise and treats :-)

Have you been showing this puppy? How has he/she done?

Sorry I don't sign on often and I just got your message. Topper is doing great. I have taken him to a few ASCA shows and he was always BOSp. right at 6 mos. I sent him to Canada for a weekend with a friend of mine and he came home with 2 WD's. Right now he's going through the ganglies so once he comes back together, we'll get him back out :-)
