  • how much did those cost you?

  • @BossIJeff They were a dollar each from an "inside yard sale".

  • Are they Ac Bias?

  • Yes, both of them.

  • the Olympus has quite a bit of excess motor noise. The realistic sounds great.

  • The Olympus sure does have LOTS of motor noise, with an external mic, it sounds good but there is slight flutter, though.

  • Right on man I have had both of those before. Sold them to the pawn shop.

  • When recording on the Pearlcoder it sounded like there was an electric shaver on in the background. OK, I once had a couple of Pearlcoders, but my vote is for the Realistic Micro 27, it's more attractive than the Pearlcoder and doesn't have the motor noise problem. I did hear a little bit of flutter at 1.2 though.

  • Nice machines you have there! That pearlcorder reminds me! I have a micro microcassette recorder of that brand! it's the same size as the tape I'll make a video of it very soon, it's an awesome tiny recorder^^

  • i have a olympus peralrecorder s921 microcassette tape recorder and an ge mico tape recorder

  • I have a General Electric recorder Almost Identical to the Olympus, On mine,, u have to slide the entire front panel off to reach the cassette and battery! ,, it slides down and off!
