Man, I don´t know if I understood your question, but for sure the Contour Wah can give you a more mellow tone than the regular Bad Horsie mode... with the Contour and Level you can make a tone more soft, as some vintages wahs (not exactly, but close)....

Thanks for explaining what the "Contour" does. In my mind, i thought it would give more bite, but in fact it's the opposite! Looks like the Bad Horsie it'll be! Thanks again!

I've tried brick supply, battery, and original morley power supply and I still have the hum noise. Just wondering if there's a certain setting on the inside pot that I have to adjust?

@JPDAMEUN Dude, I just use batteries... that´s my key to noise free with Bad Horsie 2...

Just FYI Having used both models of this pedal for many years, I have to tell you that this is a 300mA pedal, you cannot power off a typical brick supply! If you listen to the bad effects and buzz on a lot of vids it's because it is not powered correctly!
This is a great wah it just gets a lot of crap vids, this one is pretty good. Must be using just a battery.
This has Vai's designed buffer amp driver, the contour controls the wah centering and the vol can boost or cut.
