NEW YEAR RESOLUTION TIPS FOR BAY HEALTH
BE A SMART WATER USER: Most of the water you use comes from rivers that would have flowed to the Bay.
BE CAREFUL OF STORMDRAINS: Make sure youre not polluting the Bay. Be careful with what you put on your yard. And goes into storm drains and the Bay.
GET UP AND CLEANUP: Do all you can to protect the remaining habitat along the streams, marshes and wetlands around the Bay. You can become active in restoring the habitat. Get outside and join a group to help restore the habitat. Plant trees.
BE INFORMED: Keep rivers flowing into the Bay. Learn where your water comes from, and do what you can to help protect water flows. Become an active citizen whose role is to protect the Bay. Be aware.
SPEAK UP: Talk to your local legislators and city officials and understand what theyre doing. Write letters to the editor. Get engaged with your representatives.
