Thanks for another fun routine. A little tough to learn for a novice, but I got through it and it was definitely worth it. I like to lead it, and followers who like spins really enjoy it, especially when the tempo is a little faster. Got to dance this with Peggy at Glen Echo.

thanks for your kind words! Yes, I remember dancing the moves with you earlier this year. For purposes of getting more mileage out of this material, we got the idea from Richard Powers that these flourishes can also be used in the schottische during the sections of the dance when you are doing the step-hops.

Do you happen to know what music they're dancing to? It's really pretty!

We think so too!! We taught the workshop to a recording of the tune "Winter Waltz", artist unknown. We have live music for the social dance that follows our Sunday afternoon lessons. Peggy
