@ryanp166 - Absolutely. I made my comment a long time ago so don't recall what I said, but the key word is "undefeated". They didn't win a couple, but they didn't lose either. Under current rules, those two games would have gone to a shootout and they would have won or lost.

I remember being at the knights games that year, with all of the fans going crazy at every great knights play. the wave going nonstop and all of the fun. That's what got me excited about hockey!
Perry and Prust came to my school and autographed many things. They told us to believe in ourselves and never give up.... These guys were and still are my heros <3 (as well as sidny Crosby ;) )

@STEEMART2323 - It probably won't be repeated. Ties now play out as shootouts; back then, after 5 minutes in OT, they were ended tied. Three ties were in the Knight's first 32 games; any of those could have become a shootout loss by today's rules. Still, I remember hearing the news of this streak and it is the most epic hockey streak ever recorded, I think.

how unfair was that team. just unreal. and you could argue this was the most talented year ever in junior hockey, especially the CHL. rimouski was the best team ever in the QMJHL, went 27 games undefeated. the knights were the best ever of the OHL. 2005 memorial cup featured shea weber, sidney crosby, cory perry...holy shit. what a year for perry. brought the memorial cup to london, and helped with the world juniors bringing the championship back to canada.

i was like 8 and i was so happy about that, i was on tv before the game to, being interviewed lol. best year for hockey ever, a nhl lockout season, and we win it! awesome :)

Perry, Bolland, Girardi, Prust, Methot, Fritcshe... Schremp and Svyret will be there soon. The 2005 team is one of the best junior hockey teams ever.
Since then : Kostitsyn, Gagner, Kane, Mason
This years team has 5 players that are a lock for the NHL : Tavares, McRae, Kadri, Del Zotto, Carlson.
