Taken from a telecast from the Metropolitan Opera on Feb 28th 1982.
Tatiana Troyanos and Placido Domingo sing the final section of the Duet Tu qui Santuzza from Mascagni's Cavaleria Rusticana.
The little slut is gone, but Santuzza is not done talking. The confrontation continues.
James Levine conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra
My apologies! I had this video on private for some reason...
Two tremendous singers and thankfully a conductor who knows how to give them room to sing. If you have not heard these two in Carmen, give it a try. Troyanos was fabulous as the Spanish temptress. Thank heavens we have her on CD along with Domingo.

Simply amazing. Both in great vocal shape. In terms of vocal beauty, though, I prefer José Carreras as Turiddu (even if the role was a bit to heavy for him).
