A Demo of Shayne Nelson's Holobase Search Engine in Action

Adding Nelson's Holobase to any database gives the user a crashproof database containing all the data in a new crash-proof structure which can be accessed immediately when the primary database has crashed or has been taken down for maintenance. However, Holobase not only provides this unique instant backup facility: it also offers an alternate acess route to records from the database which is far faster, and usually much easier to use than the principle database.

In this video we see the user accessing a 250,000 record medical database of a Paris hospital. Even when the main hospital database is down,
due to a crash or for periodic maintenance, the user can still pull up any patient record immediately, with just a few clicks, and the speed of response is far better than on the main database, in fact it's instananeous, as you can see, because there are no tables for the software to crunch through. All the records are in a hierarchical database (holobase) meaning they can be accessed instantly with no searching.

Note that the Holobase architecture, shown here hosting a medical database, can be used as crash-proof backup for any kind of relational database or any size. Moreover, record retrieval remains instantaneous regardless of the size of the principle database... an industry first.
