  • Yeah, but it isnt as formal and overdisciplined as it used to be :)

And these says you may drop your props on purpose to do a move and even sing to the music... different from my time.

You go girl, make us proud there! This sport rocks like no other !!

  • the rules have changed so much! was a member of Brackenfell High in 1992, Just goes to show, the passion and love of this sport NEVER leaves a person!

Fantastic, where is the squad based???

If you EVER need help with music, I have thousands of songs and I have given a couple of pieces of music Brackenfell coach... The music is a HUGE part of it :)

So glad I met another ex Drummy who loves the sport so much.

Now I will HAVE to post more :)

    Have a fantastic day!

    Janet

  • Hey there

Yeah ours is based on the Military side, and I think the USA is more energetic and vibrant, with dance and such? Both are great though :)

  • He he, Yeah, shame it is a bad one when that happens, know the feeling, I tried to stop it before she dropped it but it wouldnt have seemed right.

She is a friend of mine so I reprimanded her. She has noted it and apologizes :) She did win the leader category though, so it couldnt have been that bad? Were you a drummy?

Im busy editing some more, so watch this space.

  • Hey Janet - (Been keeping an eye on all your postings...great videos, thanks!)

You wouldn't happen to have anything from SA nationals 1990/1991 would you?

  • Oh my days, I remember when I used to march in with them! and my word was I terrible haha good thing I didn't stay

  • Love the SA style Drummies.

I watched Drummies in New Zealand and it wasn't the same at all.

  • Trust me, when you watch a whole display, you can now use words with lyrics, can lipsing, can change props, and like i said drop your prop on purpose to do a move :)

  • Good for you guys!!!

I think THOSE aquads are the ones to watch, with ones with heart!
