Matt Cassell played great, but he had the best receiving corps in the league outside of Arizona. In a big game, you give me a choice of Big Ben or Cassell, I'll take Ben. Obviously if we had Brady last year, there's no doubt we would have won it all.

Being honest about your teams chances has nothing to do with your confidence in them. It's called being OBJECTIVE.

for a "HUGE pats fan" your not too confident in them. i bet all the money in the world that if we had made the playoffs we could've beaten the Steelers. not because we were better but cause they were so fatigued and we had a shitload of momentum. Under Belichick, I think we lost to one team twice in the entire season including playoffs and that was the Broncos in 05' only because they were our kryptonite. if we didn't win, it would have been really close.

LMAO Baltimore has the best D in the league. Only Pittsburgh is even close, and they RATTLED Matt Cassell. Imagine what Ray Lewis and the Baltimore D would do to him!

Hell, Baltimore's offense does suck, but they are improved from last year. The Patriots weren't good enough to overcome all their injuries, so obviously they weren't good enough to beat Baltimore! If they were, they wouldn't have lost to the Jets!

we gave up 28 points to the dolphins but we scored 48 points obviously, winning by 20.

that 07 pats team had an offgame last year against baltimore and still won (07 ravens were also the only team to lose to the dolphins lol). sure our d sucks, but so does the ravens offense. if you were paying attention last december, the pats offense was kicking ass, and i think they could have beat the baltimore d.

How can you start a comment by saying "not to make excuses" and then proceed to make excuses? The Pats didn't tame anything in the second game. They gave up 28 pts. How is that taming the Dolphins? The only reason they won is because their offense had a huge game and Cassell threw for 400 yards.

Now as to your belief we could beat Baltimore, last year with Brady, Samuel, and Thomas-we won by 3 and should have lost. This year they added a QB and Ed Reed is playing better! We'd lose-the end!

well not to make excuses, but in week 3 the pats faced the wildcat, which was a really rare formation to use before that game, and they wouldn't have scored nearly that much had they not used it. cassel also was still developing at the point. once we saw the wildcat again we tamed it, and cassel was good by then. i think the second pats/fins game proved that we're better.

you're right we probably wouldn't beaten pitt, but we coulda beat baltimore, maybe.
