I rather think the whole sketch is unfortunately undermined by the somewhat glamorous look Rob Newman was sporting back then, but in itself it is full of issues and of course dark. I remember Rob Newman often branched into this terriotory more than Baddiel, and his actions then and now do indicate a man who thinks deeply about the world. What has always amazed me is how two people, who obviously despised each other and even built it inot a format of a show, would get together in the first place?

Mind you...come to think of it, he looks pretty cool NOW. If only I could carry off the "long hair and black frock coat" look in 2011 at age 46 ROFL
