  • those camo trousers look good in your video cujo! they don't look like dpm, what are they?

It's the new British MTP "Multi Terrain Pattern", it's slowly replacing DPM. All British forces should be wearing them by 2013. DPM has been around for a lot of years, since 1966, still as good now as it was then. It has got darker over the years, but the pattern hasn't changed much. The new camo is a huge leap forward, but it retains the identity of British camo.

they look great. i will have to get me a pair of them. really liked the video too. i was always wondering the best way of getting the amadou out of the fungus. i tried lots of different ways and yours looks the most easiest way of doing it. thanks for the great vid!!

I've tried a few methods myself, this is the best so far. If you know any others, I'd be more than happy to hear them. Some people prefer the fungus to be wet, I like to let them dry out first. It's like peeling a wooden potato. I did get a lot more out of this one than you see in the video, but unfortunately I was running out of memory on the camera.

  • I learned something new..never seen this before. Thanks

  • Not very many people rember the tradition of not allowing your face to be photographed while in the field. Thats a code as old as the camera. You must of learned from an old timer.

  • thank you for the video response!
