This is an original tune that I recorded during the christmas holiday. It's inspired by Percy Shelley's poem Ozymandias. I was lucky enough to get my friend Vidar Lehmann do vocals for it:)
The paintings featured in the video are done by Thomas Cole and fits the theme very well. They're called the course of an Empire, which I also named this tune. (individual names: The savage state, The arcadian state, The consummation of Empire, Destruction and Desolation).

Equipment:
Drums: ezx metal machine
Orchestration: Eastwest Silver orchestra
Guitartone: Amplitude metal
DAW: Cubase 5

  • Wouldn't mind one without the singing, to be honest

  • @plasticpals1 hahah, putting it bluntly! I'm pretty sure that would become boring fast
