doesnt matter wing chun , boxing , thai boxing etc...it all comes down to reaction time ,power, speed, accuracy. everything else just theory.

@TheMartialartsJedi I am no expert but Yip Chun said something along the lines of "No martial art has any secrets" and something else. Basically saying if a master were to say or make a notion that they have a secret style then they fail. something like that. Also in no way am I downing anyone right now. I thought I would try and share my information.

@rennymccullough Because after two or three stikes most Wing Chun fighters already counterattack. Most westerners are used to wait out till the oponent has stopped punching (so called passive defense like in kickboxing where the hands are close to the body). This allows opponent close and friendly with his fists. In Wing Chun your hands are further away meaning after a few blocks the opponent's already in striking distance of u, which is surprise for many western fighters. It's agressive defense
