The recent discussion of race in the presidential campaign is a reminder that bigots and racists still think there's a place for such backward social retardation. Nothing typifies such retarded morals , scientific ignorance, and religious distortion as definitively as the KKK, which is still allowed to feed and nurture the hatred and stupidity that characterizes all racism.This scene from O Brother Where Art Thou? is ancillary to the main story line, and although treated with the Coen bros. comic style, still manages to portray the twisted and murderous creepiness of the KKK.
