Sangin Afghanistan Feb-Mar 07. Holed up in sangin DC. Some really heavy fighting, mortars, arty, airstrikes ect. Also being Engineers we had to sandbag the FSG tower, mortar pits and sangers. All filmed by me or my section. During the siege, fighting became intensive, causing General David J. Richards, the NATO commander in Afghanistan, to declare that Helmand province had seen the fiercest fighting involving British troops since the Korean War

Good footage mate. I was in Sangin summer 2006 with 51 para sqn RE, op herrick 4. Some good memories and a few bad but it was an awsome tour ;)

@vennom212 Cheers mate, i think i got some good stuff on tape here, but it really doesnt convey the power and destruction you feel when that shit goes in 100meters away from you! Its really awsome to witness! Glad you liked the vid and thanks for commenting
