I've always thougt that the difference between ridge and the other girls (no matter if brooke, Taylor or others) and ridge and caroline wasn't just the fact that caroline was his only real love, but that he seemed to be a better person when caroline was around him.

This episode originally aired on CBS July 18, 1990. Hard to believe it`s been 20 years. I haven`t cried more after a daytime drama episode as I did after this one.
