Great Video. First time I have heard this slower version. It is good and I like it. I've been a fan of Stuart ever since I can remember, don't know how I missed this version before. Any idea what year this was released?
Bless You for posting this! Most are only familiar with the upbeat versions recorded by Mr Hamblen and others. But THIS version, by Stuart's own words, was what he originally wanted to record back then. But, the studio execs felt it wouldn't sell and prompted him to pep it up. I love this slower more reflective version! It is after all, talking about looking forward to putting off this mortal coil, leaving the trials and troubles of this life, shedding the physical and donning the eternal!
