I've been wanting to get this up on youtube for several months but haven't had time. This is my latest remix. The solo you'll hear midway through was generated on Novation's V-Station software. I've actually become fond of that particular synth patch, and if you listen closely you'll recognise it in the Journey remix too. Dude, I've always loved this remix, but the bass has always bothered me. It sounds like when I try to turn up the bass on my shitty car stereo, like it's got a weird buzzy sound to it. For the longest time, I thought it was just artifacts caused by the Youtube quality, but I really just don't know anymore. Either way, I would kill for a cleaner-sounding version, or even a downloadable version that I could mess with myself.

@hixidom I'll look on my hard drive at home and look for the mp3 of this. The bass I used--and this was one of the first remixes I ever tackled back in 2006/2007, was a "Satisfaction" style Benny Benassi bass. Also, when youtube compresses these videos, I was not entirely in the loop on how to get it online without distorting it....my first Journey remix of "don't stop believin" was the same way! Let me see what I can find... :)

At some times, the singing sounds like it's going slower or faster than the beat. But other than that, it's a bad-ass song!

Its really good but the bass is like overpowering the thing. I'm a fan of bass but just think about tuning it down a little next time. Good job man :]

Hey yeah. This is my favorite song, has been since last Jan bu the bass my be loud by a percentage but some are forgetting this is primarily made for clubwork well a promo really am i right? Think how this would be in a rave club haha x) it would shake the place hehe which is a good thing that I'm sure of.:) I'm a not bad Remixer bad obviously not as experienced. Al in all this is a great adaptation mate well done :)
