Holocaust Footage (1945) - Part One - [WARNING: DISTRESSING IMAGES]

Holocaust footage, taken from the British Pathe reel "German Atrocities" - Camps Buchenweld & Belson

The original Pathe titlescreen writes "Germany's crimes are no longer hidden from sight. At last the eyes of the world are opened. We believe it our duty to screen these pictures as a warning to future generations..."

The British MP Mrs. Mavis Tate visits Buchenweld concentration camp and witnesses some of the atrocities and results of horrific and inhumane war crimes that were carried out there.

Some of the liberated prisoners are seen, as are mass graves and scenes of destruction, and the ovens which were used to incinerate the murdered detainees.

Former inmates in an outburst of anger brandishes his walking stick and tries to hit a guard, inmates then smash the guards' offices.

If 1 mil were gassed then it's about 1000 people murdered each day. Which means that 50 small ovens are doing much work.

Ree's & others try to explain that several bodies go into 1 small oven, but this still doesn't cut the amount of time, because human bodies do not work that way.

Yr opinion the sole purpose was to kill Jews, then I can only assume that you are Jewish. If you have strong feelings & opinions.....
