Whenever I try to fly I always just tag in my opponent. And if I wait a second, my fly comes out, but then the combo is over.

@sk8r129103 two buttons its so much easier than dashing with the stick

for anyone who uses a stick should i dash with 2 buttons or the stick?

@jtgoshaff Yeah, I do use that, but still can't get the airdash-cancelling as fast as good players. I have a huge amount of trouble wavedashing backwards too so that's another reason I think I might just be doing something wrong.

@Shinkada if ur using controllet u can hit right bumper its set for two attack by default so it will make u dash
