  • VERY NICE MAN! I live in Jax but travel to the "lagoon" quite often. I caught one 32' 13lbs back in sept of 05'. I take it this one here ended up on the grill?

  • Thanks! We live in Jax, too! Last time we fished at the lagoon was last April, but did not catch anything.

  • wtf. is there a reason my hole youtube page turns upside down when i click this??

  • Depends on how I do here early in September when the mullet start to run good. Usually I go to St Augustine and head north up the intercoastal around Pine Island. I have had great luck there but I have found that the Lagoon offers up some nice reds as well. You might want to give it a try. If you need directions send me an e mail.

  • Ya'll live in Jax and drive down to mosq lagoon?? I live in Gainesville and drive to Jax to fish, maybe I should go to ML instead.

  • The best time I've found to fish there is in mid august thru sept. The mullet run pretty heavy during this time. You are pretty brave in that Kiyak. I've come upon some pretty big gators in there. You might want to hook your stringer to the yak with a rubber band just in case one gets hungry!
