W. A. Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 1 - Rondo, played by Michael Thompson on the french horn.
I am playing the piece myself and have already performed at a concerto in my music school.

  • This reminds of spring time. The horn and the other instruments sound to me like all sorts of animals coming out to revel in the sunlight... :D

  • the good players jus sit back and listen to others performances.

  • Absolutely beautifully played!!

I am currently working with this and I just don't get enough of it - which is very unusual. :)

I'm performing this on Spring with a pianist.. I wish I had a chance to play this with an orchestra, too! :D

  • @jinaragunlark Just read your comment. Would love to know if you were accepted.

  • @jinaragunlark just read your commetn. Would love to know if you got in.

  • @TheAndreak212 Too bad he wasn't. It would have made love for his music even stronger.

  • @E102gamma7 Mozart himself was not a horn player. His horn concertos were written for and played by his good friend Joseph Leutgeb (or Leitgeb).

  • Great recording !!!! Really warm....

  • Is it known if Mozart himself played Horn?

  • i'm playin this for a YOBC audition. and i've only been playing for 3 years!

  • Ah... So, I am auditioning for MArine Corps band, right? I have until may 5 to get all scales and arpeggios, sight reading and a solo prepared piece. I am very fortunate today to have found out a good old friend of mine teaches horn for free. :P She assigned me this section to play. Hopefully it'll be enough to get me in!

  • @justanothercrazygal Maybe he was playing some of it natural. Though I really doubt it, that could account for it in some of the faster sections. And yeah, Brain is the boss.
