Please, even most of the basic health insurance policies written in the US include dental insurance which covers twice yearly checkups, x-rays, cleaning, fillings etc and 50% of surgical procedures such as roots with a cap of approximately $1-2K per year and it is RARE to have to wait more than a day to see a dentist.
