  • Well fuck those "Like me" dicks and all the people who think they know hip-hop without having listened to a full album of Gangstarr

Guru is part of those street prophets. They are rare, not because the skill is rare, but because most of them end up going back to their basic human instincts like money and pussy, instead of keeping the Voice of the streets going on.

  • @PavsYo1 I only found out about his stuff after he passed away unfortunately but I'm not ashamed of that. He's a great artist. Mad respect to him and his work.

  • @AtomicHephaestus all mcs you just named deserve credit especially Guru however, I dont think you can throw Tupac away like that his songs did have meaning like dear mama, brenda`s baby ect! He was also one of the first to rap from the pit of his stomach which allowed better delivery and allows to easily propagate ones voice further into an audience, he also just before he died, was planning on become a politician so with all due respect I think your comment was a bit ignorant

  • @whtevrsonmymind Fuck off the 1%

  • @ PavsYo1 I discovered also guru after his death, good hip hop too. I do not know I had occasion to wonder why? I only say one thing, not too late to discover reality. The underground is still alive, but each time he buried the fucking media, best for the authenticity but worse for the diffusion. Other 90's not so bad xD

    Rip Guru

    PS: sorry for my English

  • 5k likes, 50 dislikes. THEY ARE THE 1%

  • @AtomicHephaestus Good point. But just dont compare tupac & biggie to guru. They are both equally good.

  • Gotta get this on my ipod, this would be dope to skateboard to

  • I don't care what anyone says, Guru is the greatest lyricist to grace the mic. He's better than Tupac, Biggie, Eazy E, Snoop Dogg or any other so called thug/gangsta.

He actually rapped rhymes with a meaning. His flow was on another level and his meaning is too deep for the mainstream, unlike the rest. He represented the people and he never sold out.

While Jay Z is rapping about "girls, girls, girls" Guru was rapping discipline. Rest in Peace Guru, you were the peoples MC.

  • Ja pierdole wszyscy zajebisci raperzy musieli odejsc po narodzinach bibera -.-

  • This is DOPE!!!!!! Guru, wish you were alive!!!!

  • GURU REST IN PEACE BROTHA!
