So someone went to all this trouble to engineer a way around an inferior layout, just to create less turbulence, so the car behind can overtake it easier? Here's an idea: Just limit the downforce and rely on mechanical grip. It wouldn't be too hard to measure the downforce generated in real-time and relay that info to the race controllers, so anyone with an illegal car can be penalized. Me, I'd like to see a race series where all the advances banned from F1 are allowed

For a car that has the front suspension of a MOUNTAIN BIKE, it's fuckin' amazing.

It's an interesting car for sure and certainly a feat of engineering. It just seems like a massive effort to drive, you can't get lazy and chuck it in to a corner if you've broken too late like you could with a nicely balanced car, it looks like you have to be on it, permanently concentrated, hitting every breaking point and steering carefully and consciously, doesn't look very fun! Very interesting though, just not for me :-) like if I'd ever get the opportunity to drive one anyway! :-(

That graham bt52 did indeed have the delta wing shape but it still did have a normal f1 front track width.
