Artwork on fridge - 'Throw-away Planet' by Damon (thanks!)

I could not imagine my garden without Aloe Vera. I use it all the time.

I find this method of aloe juice is great for re-hydration, as a general tonic, for sunburn, acne and minor digestion issues. To use for sunburn and acne I just fill up a spray bottle and spray my skin whenever I need to. It also cools me down on a hot day.

For re-hydration I drink it whenever I feel the need. It may taste a little bitter for the first few days, but then it will taste like crystal clear rain water.

I have barely touched on the incredible medicinal properties of this amazing plant. It just gives soooo much! People have been using it for over 5000 years.

In this video, I have used the Magpie bird calls as they are traditionally the heralders of news. If you listen they will tell you many things!

Have fun!!

  • @marinezh If you are treating something and using all the sap it is very bitter and should be used like a medicine. Add about 100mls to your favourite drink 2 or 3x/day you will not notice it at all.

  • @marinezh I don't worry about the proportions much, usually I put one large leaf in my jar which holds about 2litres of water. I encourage you to find your own proportions again aloe vera is very safe

  • @great2bWHILD

thanks for sharing. is the proportions matter? how about bitterness? i would love to make it, but not sure can overcome bitterness to drink.

  • @wzmicro :) so welcome!

  • @2emeraldeyes YeeHaaa! You have a massive untouched medicine cabinet - lucky you!

The music is by ANTONIO VIVALDI ~ the first part of SUMMER from the four seasons

  • @CheeseXEmo I totally believe in the right to create. You may just discover something that works for you. Both aloe and good quality water are completely non toxic so there is no harm in trying new ways. Please let me know how it goes!

The sap is highly medicinal and I only take medicine when my body needs it hence I allow the sap to seep out and drink the infused water as a daily tonic for re-hydration etc. If you are treating something specific then use the whole leaf with the sap. Have fun!
