Melissa's POV:
Teacher- so, there is a teen music talent contest tomorrow (it's friday) who's gonna be in it?
My hand shot up so fast that it made some papers nearby fly...whoops. I looked around the room and only saw Joe's hand up too.
Teacher- hmm, interesting, are you two in the same band?
M+J- No!!
The teacher seemed startled so she paused before she spoke again.
Teacher- even more interesting, 2 best friends competing against each other, well I will be looking forward to watching you guys perform.
*bell rings*
I gathered all my books and stuff and ran to the door to get there before Joe. We have to do this every class, we are VERY competitive. But I was too late, DAMIT!
Melissa- grrrr
Joe- I was here first! *gloating*
Melissa- yea and I was here second *laughing*
Joe- I am SOO gonna beat you tomorrow!
Melissa- what makes you so sure?!
Joe- you've got no talent!
Melissa- *jaw drops, playfully pushes him, and then starts running away*
A/N- ahaha I'm listening to Running by ARCHIE!!! (david archuleta)
~after school at the Jonas house~
Joe- *shuts the door behind and runs to the living room*
Nick- what's the rush?
Joe- we gotta rehearse!
Kevin- cant we do that later?
Joe- no!
Nick- please?
Joe- no!
Kevin- please?
Joe- no!
Kevin- why?
Joe- no!
Nick- um...Joe?
Joe- what?
Kevin- you didnt answer my question
Joe- what question?
K+N- WHY?!!
Joe- oh...that...cuz...umm...
Nick- let me guess...Asian Sisters?
Joe- uh...
Kevin- Joe
Joe- fine it is
Nick- *sighs* let's go
Kevin- *groans* fine
They practice for 5 hours straight
Kevin- ugh *looks at his hands* Joe can we stop?!! My hands are killing me from playing the guitar so long and you're gonna lose your voice before tomorrow!
Joe- fine
Nick- finally!!
Joe gives Nick the death stare.
Nick- sorry...
Mrs.Jonas- Guys!! Dinner!!
Kevin- yea we'll be right there *looks at Joe* right?
Joe- yeah yeah
~meanwhile~
Diana- seriously, I'm bored out of my mind
Ada- ha!
Melissa- then go do something, I'm trying to write a song
Diana- oooh, what's it about?
Ada- is it about how Joe likes you so much?
Melissa- come on ada, he does SOO not like me, we're just friends...best friends
Diana- if he doesn't like you so much then why is he singing to you?
Melissa- what are you--*hears them rehearsing burnin up* they're just practicing gosh.
Diana- sure...
After burnin up, they hear kung fu grip
Nick- *singing* She's got a smile, that I die for. Everyone knows that I'm a prisoner of war for her, yeah.........
*pretend joe's sings this part*
Joe- I'm so in love with her, I don't care who knows that I'm ready to fight, ready to go, Just like a GI Joe (Joe haha!!)
Melissa- hey Ada, *mocking* Nick's singing for you *laughs*
Ada- no he isnt, shut up. *throws a pillow at her*
They listened to the rest of the song and finished writing their song. Then rehearsed a little bit (so tempted to say LONGER).
