Hey wait.... When I did def calculator(): it came up with errors. But when I did def calculator(): then on the next line: pass it worked.

I am running ubuntu and am using it in the terminal, so that could be my problem. I'll try to start writing my programs in gedit now i guess. :P

Okay, so when the program is complete and you go back to the shell, what do you type in? just calculator, or like run calculator? the screen is too small to see what you wrote
