The Rotary Club of Buckie organizes the "Six Harbour Walk" on the Sunday before Mayday each year. Participants walk the 15 miles from Portsoy Harbour, through Sandend, Cullen, Portknockie, and Findochty to Buckie Harbour to raise funds to support local and national charities. This must be one of the finest coastal walks in the country. What is amazing is the number of people who are prepared to get together on the Mayday Sunday to support such charities.
This video shows you the wonderful jouney and the magnificent partiipants in 2009. Sadly, we did not capture everyone, even the front runner (literally), but, hopefully, this video will give you a flavour of a great event. Please return Sponsor money by 21 June.
For visitors to the area, this walk is a wonderful extension to the Speyside Way. Remember, if you have a good internet connection to click the HD and Full Screen buttons.
