Ten Tumbao (www.tentumbao.com) plays traditional Puerto Rican Plenas at the Shalin Liu Performance Hall in Rockport MA on 9/29/10 at a concert put on by the Rockport Chamber Music Festival. Kalani Trinidad - vocals, percussion, flute; Kenny Kozol - percussion, vocals; Vicente Lebrón - percussion, vocals; Natanael Molina - piano, vocals; Marcos Torres - percussion; Danny Torres - bass.

  • Look for the group Plena Libre, they are very good too

  • @plokiju88 It is suppose to be like that, traditionally only a few musicians and a singer a chorus. Is most based on the rhythm, Plena tells a story about something that happen in the country or to someone and the song tells the story.
