Richard Davis from the Berklee College of Music presents at the New Mexico Filmmakers Conference in March 28, 2008. Sponsored by the New Mexico Music Commission. Composer for ROBIN HOOD, PRINCE OF THIEVES, THE LAST BOY SCOUT, and ABC's THE FALL GUY, Richard
Davis will speak on the nuts and bolts of composing music for film and television. Discussion will include the
basic process and timelines, midi mock-ups, temp tracks, and the need for the composer to be not just a
musician, but a filmmaker as well. For producers, directors, and composers.

  • @themeleed Can't agree more

  • It would've been helpful if the camera taped the video shown, but this is a very informative series, I'm enjoying watching it.

  • Very interesting although I was a little bit confused with the video cuts.

  • I'm sure you noticed these comment on my other postings but, we don't get the full learning experience from the examples with out viewing the example clips being played. A side note...The scoring web episodes of this series lack volume it needs to be louder.

  • I lilke it alot but i wish i could see the videos

  • Thank you for posting . This was very helpfull

  • I disagree. Plus you didn't have the visuals. ;)
