Daegu, august the 29th 2011. The final of the 110m hurdles of 2011 world championships, wind -1.1m/s, Dayron Robles won the race in 13.14. Jason Richardson (USA) was second in 13.16, Liu Xiang (China), the 2004 olympic champion third in 13.27. But one hour after the race, the official result falled: Dayron Robles was disqualified because of the contact with his hand on Liu Xiang on 2 last hurdles

They had to DQ him even though it wasnt intentional.

The DQ was right in the first place considering Liu Xiang would have won but was it an accident? i think so because one, the hurdles are tall to jump over (42 inches which is 3ft and 6 inches) and much energy is being used to jump over them. Now Robles is tired at the end (so were the others) and he brought that arm down out of fatigue. I mean look at his face he was upset by it. He didnt even put on his happy face for the camera. Which leads to Robles being innocent of intentional hit
