O'Reilly spent years smearing Dr. George Tiller on the air. Now that Tiller has been murdered (and people are asking questions about whether O'Reilly helped incite violence), O'Reilly suddenly believes there's too much coverage of Tiller.
You pose an interesting question there. No, I would not cry. But then, I would not advocate the death either. Still, your point is moot. You just equated someone simply dying, with that of someone killing someone else. I'm in 100% agreement with your death penalty stance. But if you you honestly try to make right the fact that one man murdered another, you step into hypocrisy. And that, I'm sad to say, is the end of any credibility in future arguments....in my book at least.
AndrewDeLong, your argument that "a life is a life" is wrong and twisted. A person who murders other human beings does not deserve to live. This has nothing to do with "numbers" - Dr death took innocent lives. When he was killed the life of a murderer was taken.
I painfully pointed out that I do not support the death penalty because we, as human beings, do not and should not have the tools to avenge death.
Nevertheless, if a murderer fell into a meat-grinding machine would you cry?
Tiller absolutely deserved to be killed. Not that I would in anyway justify killing whatsoever, but now that it's done, I can only say that Dr Tiller who murdered thousands of innocent babies deserved to die and he will burn in hell forever.
it is bullshit that James Von Brunn is an "anti-semite bigot" instead of a conservative christian terrorist, same as the man who killed dr. tiller. Von Brunn and the man who killed Dr. TIller are both CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN TERRORISTS. Both are part of horrible terroristic groups.
@ellabella271, well, if it makes you feel better...

@HAZIDEAD
By your logic:
A life is a life. Numbers mean nothing. Taking one or taking a thousand, it is wrong. So to advocate murder by any means is just as wrong.
By your logic...
I believe that you'll be visiting Tiller very soon if you truly believe that statement of yours.
