tex la homa began life in the year 2000 as a recording project by Matthew Shaw.

tex la homa sometimes play live, this has taken many forms over the years and will probably continue to do so.

As well as tex la homa Matthew makes music with various other people, links to some of these can be found in the "top friends" below, he also runs the label apollolaan recordings, releasing music by Kawabata Makoto, White Hills, The A Band, Andrew Paine, Plastic Crimewave, Plinth, Directorsound & many others, with more to come...

In 2008 Acuarela released the tex la homa album "little flashes of sunlight on a cold dark sea" which is available now. Also available now is "The Rites of Spring" 5 new tracks released on 1st April 2009 on apollolaan.
