I had never heard of Kendo until Mel (the girl on the video) explained it to me.

Great video. She is trying to get the club down at IU in Bloomington going again, I hope she does.

If you would like to learn, check the All US Kendo Federation (AUSKF) website and check out their dojo page for a list of dojos in your state.

Glad to hear people still find kendo interesting. Maybe in the future she'd be able to talk her club into officially putting on a demo.

It was just her from there. She did mention her rank, but I do not remember. She has been doing kendo for 7 years though if that helps.

Thanks, was just wondering. Based on that I can make a guess as to her rank but I could be wrong. So she wasn't officially there representing the IUKC?

That was not the impression I got. She certainly talked about it, but the main focus was on the very basics of kendo, which I found very interesting and informative.
