Mike shares a bit of his original work "Anthem for an upcoming orchestral premiere with the Salem Pops orchestra on March 12th 2011 http://www.mikestrickland.com
We did it! Tonight! Not sure we did it quite justice, but we did it and it was fun. :-) Thanks for letting us be a part of it! We sure enjoyed having you.
Really love this and think it would make a wonderful theme and background music for a very romantic movie. It's sad, haunting, and so beautiful that it leaves you wanting to hear more. Can't wait to hear the whole "Anthem" on a future CD.
This composition has a great balance between harmony and melody. Sounds a lot like a Rachmanivov piece. I love it. It should go over great with audiences.

Love it. Love the "red" A-s in the melody, they're like cherries that makes the song memorable.
(Although I would let it ring a little bit longer in the first section of the melody by removing the note (Ab) after that.)
