Grid tie inverter update

Grid tie inverter. Almost done. Making about 400 watts. Need to move some wires around to try and up the wattage.
I have 4 x 100 panels.
2 x 170 watt panels
4 x 50 watt panels
When you add all that up I should be getting more. ???
Not sure what I'm doing.
Have 3 x100 watt inverters 12 volt. Each running 100 watt panels. Plus one 50 watt on the middle one.
24 volt 600 watt inverter with the 2 x 170 watt. At 48 volt.
12 volt 600watt running 250 watts of panels.

I'm not sure about the legal stuff.

I also have a pro installed unit. So they can't tell homemade or real power.

It was around $600 for 3 months.

Now its around $120.

I have spent a far bit of money to get that.

My home made system make peak 700watts. Plus the comercial one of 1500kw.

Hello sir I'm new to this .have a question hope u can help . How do u tie 3 300 watt grid tie inverter together did u jump them like a battery + to + and - to - if I'm not wrong they call it parallel .thank you

Hi,

I have about one panel for each inverter. They tend to run at a lower temp. The fans wont come on and waste my solar power keeping cool.

Two of the inverters have a 100 watts and a 40 watt panel. This make the fan come on all the time.

I have tried to connect them to each other but i find the Watts drop off on my meter.

One panel per inverter for small scale is the best.

I have some new 1200watt inverters that have 4X165 watts panels at 100volt on them. They work great.

Aren't this grid tie inverters illegal? Is there anyway that the power company find out if your using a non UL grid tie inverter?

Go to Ebay look up shunt's and amp meters and reseach the wire diagram, which is usally included in the item description! A warning though those digital chinese made 200 amp / volt meters are not dependable! The average tempeture here hits 105 degrees F. when the units get hot they becme irraddict, looking at changing both units out soon! Maybe winter time and cooler wheather will make a difference!
