Honestly, at that period in time that was considered very cool and hip, and while it may be outdated NOW, you can not deny it was in fact a sign of the time period.

Thought about this for the first time in years and years when I was watching an episode of SLEDGE HAMMER! and realized he directed some of those Sledge episodes. I remeber a scene involving red hot lava below, and another when he disappeared behind a curtain that he was holding up when the 'bad guy' got impaitent of waiting for him to come out. He disappeared even tho' his fingers were seen holding up the curtain. Amen to coming out on dvd.

but I was not able to figure it out.

Liked Bill Bixby in all his shows...The Magician...Courtship of Eddie's Father...The Hulk...My Favorite Martian. I was very sad when Mr. Bixby passed away those many years ago.
