Why the does everyone have to fight?? I'm an Aussie and I believe this was the best ashes series I have ever seen (even though we lost), and this was such a pivotal moment in the match. Why abuse the English, if it wasn't for them we wouldnt be living in this great country! Why abuse Aussies? We're pretty much the same people apart from our accents. Why can't everyone just have some friendly banter and enjoy one of the greatest sporting event/rivalry in the world!!

@Mearstone What does rejoicing inappropriately have to do with my statement? Nothing! In cricket there is no stat for "behaved like an idiot". However what is telling is that his list of idiotic behavioural incidents seems to be longer than that of most cricketers to whom the words "class act" is applicable.

@rothordegilian In that case, one wonders why the English are slumming it by putting such a huge effort into defeating crims. On average, the crims are not doing too badly.

Here's my opinion to anybody who claimed England were cheating - Simon Jones was off injured at the time, an injury which kept him out of cricket for an extended period and an injury which has meant he has never played international cricket since. Gary Pratt was one of the best fielders in the country at the time, they're hardly going to bring the worst fielder in the country on. Ponting threw his toys out because he sensed the Ashes slipping away, but gave Pratt his boots and bat as an apology.
