Here's my opinion to anybody who claimed England were cheating - Simon Jones was off injured at the time, an injury which kept him out of cricket for an extended period and an injury which has meant he has never played international cricket since. Gary Pratt was one of the best fielders in the country at the time, they're hardly going to bring the worst fielder in the country on. Ponting threw his toys out because he sensed the Ashes slipping away, but gave Pratt his boots and bat as an apology.

Yes but only because it was hot. We do not know what hot it, and was quite a shock to the system. Normally showers are used to wash the coal and beans from our faces, yet we used imagination to use them to cool down. I believe Australians are used to hot and should have been most comfortable.

you have to admit though mate, that during that series England were being very inventive with their substituting. Bowlers were completing spells, then going off and having showers, re-charging, and going back out. Although Ponting was angry in the wrong situation, you can see why he had issue with the situation.

Ponting should not have carried on like he did but the English team were bending the rules to suit themselves. Wasn't really in the spirit of the game.
